Job summary

Stratacent is seeking a Windows Engineer in Pune to take ownership of Windows 10/11 endpoint administration, patching, and troubleshooting. The role requires 6+ years of experience, with hands-on expertise in Intune, Endpoint Central, and Microsoft 365.

You will manage Entra ID joined devices, provide L2/L3 support for M365 apps, and develop automation scripts. Rotational shift and full-time employment in Pune.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on Windows administration experience.
• Experience with endpoint patching and software deployment.
• Proficient with Intune, Endpoint Central, and Microsoft 365.
• Strong RCA, incident management and ITSM process knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows 10/11 endpoints and maintain health.
• Manage patching, software deployment, inventory, and compliance.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS, hardware, drivers, and networking.
• Handle Entra ID joined devices and authentication issues.
• Provide L2/L3 support for Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Office).
• Develop PowerShell scripts for automation and reporting.
• Monitor endpoint health, patch status and SLAs.
• Coordinate with vendors and maintain SOPs.

Job Description

Own Windows 10/11 endpoint administration, troubleshooting and overall endpoint health.

• Manage Windows endpoints using ManageEngine Endpoint Central and other MDMs.
• Manage patch deployment, software deployment, inventory and endpoint compliance.
• Troubleshoot complex Windows OS, hardware, driver, performance, networking and application issues.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) joined devices and troubleshoot authentication and access issues.
• Provide L2/L3 support for Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and Office.
• Manage application deployment, upgrades, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Handle Windows patching and remediation of critical security vulnerabilities.
• Troubleshoot antivirus and endpoint security-related issues.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring endpoint and application issues.
• Develop PowerShell scripts for automation, troubleshooting and reporting.
• Troubleshoot VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and other endpoint networking issues.
• Monitor endpoint compliance, patch status and device health.
• Handle escalated incidents and complex technical issues within defined SLAs.
• Coordinate with software, hardware and security vendors.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs and troubleshooting guides.
• Assist with endpoint hardening and CIS/security baselines.
• Participate in endpoint, security and infrastructure improvement projects.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Windows 10/11 administration and troubleshooting.
• Strong experience with endpoint and patch management.
• Hands-on experience with Intune,ManageEngine Endpoint Central or similar platforms.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and Windows networking.
• Good PowerShell scripting knowledge.
• Strong understanding of Windows security and endpoint compliance.
• Experience with application deployment and software troubleshooting.
• Strong incident management, troubleshooting and RCA skills.
• Experience with IT ticketing and ITSM processes.
