Job summary

Stratacent is seeking a backend software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and services. You will collaborate with frontend teams and cross-functional partners, applying modern tech and AI to build resilient, secure systems.

The role emphasizes production-grade software, azure-based infrastructure, and distributed architectures for enterprise-scale financial applications.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent).
• Backend engineering: Expert in C#/.NET; designing, building, and operating APIs and backend services.
• Frontend collaboration: Comfortable with TypeScript and partnering with Angular/React teams.
• Cloud & IaC: Hands-on with Azure and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Azure Bicep.
• Messaging & integration: Experience with Event Grid, Event Hubs, and Service Bus in distributed systems.
• Data stores: Proficient with MS SQL Server and Cosmos DB (design, performance, secure ops).
• Production rigor: Built for scale, resilience, security, and observability in complex settings.
• Modern Tech and SDLC: Comfortable using AI to accelerate and add value in applications.

• Frontend collaboration: Comfortable working with TypeScript and partnering with Angular/React teams to integrate services.
• Cloud & IaC: Hands-on with Azure and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Azure Bicep to deliver reliable, repeatable environments.
• Messaging & integration: Practical experience with Event Grid, Event Hubs, and Service Bus in event-driven, distributed systems.
• Data stores: Proficient with MS SQL Server and Cosmos DB (schema/design, performance tuning, secure operations).
• Production rigor: Build for scale, resilience, security, and observability; comfortable operating in complex, ambiguous settings with multiple stakeholders.
• Modern Tech and SDLC: Comfortable with responsibly using AI as an accelerator and driving value-adding use of AI within applications
