Job summary

Knowledgesprint Technologies is seeking an experienced Windows Server Administrator in Hyderabad to manage provisioning, hardening, patching, backups, and day-to-day infrastructure support.

The role focuses on troubleshooting server issues, administering Hyper-V clusters, performing migrations, and ensuring security and high availability. You will coordinate with customers and internal teams while documenting incidents and resolutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in provisioning, OS hardening, and patching of Windows Server environments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot server issues, incidents, and perform RCA; manage incident tickets through resolution.
• Administer Hyper-V 2012/2016 clusters, VM provisioning, snapshots, failover clustering, and HA environments.
• Manage OS patching, security hardening, backup/recovery, and OS reinstallation.
• Support OS migrations including in-place upgrades and side-by-side migrations, plus server commissioning/decommissioning.
• Manage user access, folder permissions, server inventory, and provide basic IIS troubleshooting and application support.
• Coordinate with customers, internal teams, and vendors for issue resolution with strong troubleshooting, documentation, reporting, and incident-management skills.
