Job summary

Vyntrapro Innovations in Pune, India is seeking a proactive Windows Server Administrator (L1) to support and maintain Windows Server environments, manage user accounts, AD, DNS, DHCP, and handle day-to-day infrastructure tasks.

You will monitor server health, perform routine maintenance, apply patches, troubleshoot issues, and document configurations and resolutions while escalating complex problems to L2/L3 as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments and AD administration.
• Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy concepts.
• Experience in patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident management processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Windows Server environments and ensure system availability.
• Perform routine server health checks and maintenance activities.
• Manage Active Directory users, groups, and OUs.
• Create/modify/disable user accounts as requested.
• Troubleshoot server, network, and application issues at a basic level.
• Apply Windows patches and updates under supervision.
• Monitor server performance, disk space and logs.
• Support DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy administration.
• Respond to incidents, requests, and alerts within SLA.
• Document configurations, incidents, and resolutions.
• Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams when required.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Windows Server Administrator (L1) to support and maintain Windows Server environments. The candidate will be responsible for server administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, user management, and handling day-to-day infrastructure support activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor Windows Server environments and ensure system availability.
• Perform routine server health checks and maintenance activities.
• Manage Active Directory users, groups, and organizational units.
• Create, modify, and disable user accounts as per requests.
• Troubleshoot basic server, network, and application-related issues.
• Handle Windows patching and updates under supervision.
• Monitor server performance, disk space, and event logs.
• Support DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy administration.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and alerts within SLA timelines.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, incidents, and resolutions.
• Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams when required.
• Good knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
• Good understanding of Active Directory (AD).
• Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Group Policy (GPO).
