Job summary

Mployee.me is seeking a Windchill Consultant for a full-time, hybrid role based in Noida. The consultant will implement, configure, and customize PTC Windchill solutions for enterprise clients, gathering requirements and mapping processes to PLM capabilities.

Day-to-day work includes developing and testing configurations, creating technical and user documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Windchill configuration, customization, and administration including PDM, workflows, and lifecycle configuration.
• Experience with PLM concepts such as change management, BOM management, document control, and engineering collaboration.
• Proficiency in tools/technologies used for Windchill extensions and integrations (e.g., Java/J2EE, XML, web services, SQL).
• Ability to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate into scalable PLM solutions and specs.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with production support experience.
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional/global teams and end users via training/documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/CS/IT; relevant PLM/PTC certifications are a plus.
• Prior consulting/enterprise implementation experience in manufacturing or engineering domains is desirable.
• Salary best in class as per industry standard.

Role Description

The Windchill Consultant is a full-time, hybrid role based in Noida, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and customizing PTC Windchill solutions, including requirements gathering, solution design, and deployment for enterprise clients. Day-to-day activities include analyzing business processes, mapping them to PLM capabilities, developing and testing configurations, and preparing technical and user documentation. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, coordinating with client stakeholders, and providing support for upgrades, integrations, and performance optimization. The consultant will also troubleshoot issues, participate in code and configuration reviews, and contribute to best practices and reusable solution assets within OSPL.

• Experience with PLM concepts and processes, such as change management, BOM management, document control, and engineering collaboration.
• Proficiency in relevant technical tools and technologies (e.g., Java/J2EE, XML, web services, SQL/relational databases) used for Windchill extensions and integrations.
• Ability to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into scalable PLM solutions and technical specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with experience in performance tuning, issue diagnosis, and incident resolution in production environments.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional and global teams and to support end users through training and documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant PLM or PTC certifications are an advantage.
• Prior experience in consulting or enterprise implementation projects, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or related domains, is highly desirable.
