Job summary

ALTEN India in Chennai is seeking a skilled WiFi software engineer to develop components for Linux and Android-based infotainment systems. You will work within Android AOSP / Linux build environments and contribute to WLAN features and standards.

Responsibilities include implementing 802.11n/ac/ax standards, WPA2/WPA3, and creating AP/Station/Direct functionalities, while leveraging C/C++/Java expertise. Strong debugging of network stacks and logs is expected.

• Develop software components in WiFi technology for Linux and Android platforms
• Implement WiFi features in In-Vehicle Infotainment systems
• Utilize strong programming skills in C, C++, and Java
• Work within Android AOSP / Linux based infotainment and build environments
• Build and implement 802.11n, 802.11ac, and 802.11ax standards, as well as security standards like WPA2 and WPA3
• Create WiFi Access Point, WiFi Station, and WiFi Direct features
• Understand Linux and Android network stacks
• Proficient in analyzing WiFi sniffer logs and pcap files
• Experience in executing WiFi Alliance certification
