Responsibilities

• Prepare design drawings, plans, and profiles for sewerage and stormwater networks.

• Support hydraulic modeling using SewerGEMS, StormCAD, or SWMM.
• Conduct utility clash checks and integrate designs with road layouts.
• Assist in preparing BOQs, specs, and cost estimates per CPHEEO/ULB guidelines.

Essential Qualification: ME/ MTech in Environment
Job Location: Thane, Maharashtra
Experience: 3-7 Years

We are seeking a technically sound and self-motivated Sewerage & Storm Drain Designer of experience in the design and drafting of sewerage networks and stormwater drainage systems for urban infrastructure and public sector projects. The ideal candidate should be proficient in preparing layout plans, profiles, and hydraulic calculations, and must be capable of working in coordination with multi-disciplinary teams and government agencies.

• Prepare design drawings, longitudinal sections, plans, and profiles for sewerage and stormwater networks.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, including pipe sizing, slope design, and capacity checks for various rainfall intensities and discharge standards.
• Support hydraulic modeling using tools such as SewerGEMS, StormCAD, or SWMM.
• Conduct utility clash checks, integrate designs with road and other civil infrastructure layouts.
• Assist in preparing BOQs, technical specifications, and cost estimates in accordance with CPHEEOmanuals or ULB guidelines.
• Coordinate with senior engineers, CAD teams, and planning professionals to ensure design accuracy anddeliverable quality.
• Liaise with local authorities or clients for data collection, site verification, and design approvals.
• Contribute to preparation of DPRs, tender documents, and project execution drawings.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and exposure to Civil 3D for utility drafting and alignment profiles.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic modeling tools (e.g., SewerGEMS, StormCAD, SWMM).
• Familiarity with IS codes, CPHEEO guidelines, and local ULB standards for utility infrastructure.
• Ability to interpret survey data, topographic maps, and integrate them into design planning.
• Strong teamwork, documentation, and technical reporting skills.
