Job summary

Toshiba JSW Power Systems in Tamil Nadu seeks skilled welders with experience in GMAW, FCAW, GTAW and the operation of auto welding machines (PTA, robotic, overlay). Reading weld symbols and understanding engineering drawings are essential.

Applicants should have hands-on experience with furnace operations (nitriding, electrical, LPG), EOT cranes and plate bending/rolling, plus grinding and gouging tools. Industrial safety and 5S awareness are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in welding of GMAW, FCAW & GTAW.
• Experience in operating auto welding machines (PTA, Robotic, Overlay).
• Experience in reading engineering drawings (Weld symbols).
• Experience in furnace operations (Nitriding, Electrical, LPG-based).
• Experience in EOT crane operation (Electric Overhead Travelling).
• Experience in plate bending and rolling processes.
• Experience in handling grinding & polishing tools (Air & electric).
• Knowledge of gouging, gas cutting & preheating.
• Awareness of industrial safety and 5S activities.

Responsibilities

• Welding machine handling on various welding operations.
• Operate auto welding machines including robotic and semi-automatic setups.
• Read and interpret welding symbols from drawings.
