Job summary

HypTechie is seeking an experienced WebMethods Administrator with strong development exposure to manage, support, and optimize enterprise webMethods platforms across India. The role involves platform administration, patching, DR planning, monitoring, deployment automation, and security compliance.

You will administer IS, API Gateway, UM, BPM and related components, configure clustering and high availability, coordinate DR drills, and drive CI/CD integrations with deployment teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Software AG Certified Administrator/Developer is preferred.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer webMethods components: IS, API Gateway, UM, BPM, Task Engine, Process Engine.
• Configure clustering, load balancing, and high availability environments.
• Manage DEV, QA, and PROD environments with enterprise compliance.
• Execute maintenance windows, DR drills, and outage coordination.
• Monitor uptime and perform routine health checks.
• Plan and apply patches and fixes across environments.
• Coordinate with vendor support for issue resolution.
• Lead outage investigations and RCA documentation.
• Execute DR failover and failback activities.
• Ensure SLA compliance and minimal downtime.
• Configure proactive monitoring using ELK, Splunk, Introscope.

Job Summary

Must Have Skills

• Strong expertise in webMethods Administration and good development exposure.
• Hands-on experience with webMethods 10.x (preferably 10.15).
• Deep knowledge of Integration Server, API Gateway, Universal Messaging, Task Engine, BPM, Process Engine.
• Experience with clustering, load balancing, and high availability setups.
• Proven experience in patching, upgrades, DR drills, and outage management.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for integration and messaging issues.

Good to Have Skills

• Working knowledge of Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, and containerized deployments.
