Roles and Responsibilities:

• Service troubleshooting and understanding existing codes and flows.
• Developing and deploying enhancements in production environment and lower environments.
• Involvement in triage of major incidents and escalated cases.
• Post-release service synthetic testing.
• Discovering and driving defects to closure.

Core Competencies, Knowledge and Experience:

• A WebMethods Developer resource with experience in development of complex solutions over WebMethods product suite.
• Must have experience in development of services over public and subscribe framework.
• Development experience required in functionalities/solutions over APIGW, remote invoke, ESB, B2B TN, and WebMethods Active Transfers.
• Must have experience in development of SOAP, REST stateful, and stateless services.
• Troubleshooting experience with Integration Server, Universal Messaging Server, Enterprise Gateway, API Gateway, and IS Clustering.
• Preferred experience in administration, planning, and configuration of WebMethods product suite (APIGW, Broker, Integration Server, Trading Networks, My WebMethods Server, Deployer, Adapters (SAP, JDBC, etc.), Universal Messaging, API, Command Central, and Terracotta).
• L3 experience in administration and maintenance of integration solutions.
• Platform: MUST have worked in any Unix-flavored environment (Linux, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, etc.).
• Troubleshooting issues related to threads, memory, sessions, analyzing thread dumps, and finding root causes of server crashes.
• Experience in communication security protocols, TLS, HTTP(s), SFTP, encryption/decryption, and file/database polling.
• Experience in certificate configurations with ports/services.
• Zest/experience in both development and administration will be a plus.
• MUST have worked on WebMethods versions (7.X, 8.X, 9.X, and 10.X) components.
• Preferable experience in telecom domain involving configuring and managing production applications & production servers, monitoring, and scripting for automations.

Must Have Technical/Professional Qualifications:

• Experience on migration from 8.X, 9.X towards 10.X would be an added advantage.
• Should have supported technically on deployment and releases.
• Should have sound knowledge and exposure to order journeys in LOB (Line of Business), incident management, problem management, change management, release management, and continuous service improvement.
• Should have sound knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL as well.
• Should have good understanding of ITIL execution methodology and use of best practices in support and monitoring activities.
• Should have good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in both small and large teams.
