Job summary

Sony India Software Centre is seeking a technically strong professional to work on multiple integration technologies, with a focus on webMethods. The role involves designing, developing, administering and supporting integrations across the webMethods platform, including Universal Messaging and API Gateway components.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure secure data flows, and drive automation and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of webMethods integration platform.
• Proficiency with webMethods, including Universal Messaging and API Gateway.
• Working knowledge of AWS, particularly EC2 instances, Virtual private networks and gateways.
• Experience with any Managed File Transfer (MFT) technology & ETL tool is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, administer and support integrations on the webMethods platform.
• Administer, Configure Universal Messaging and API Gateway components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust, scalable integration solutions.
• Ensure reliable, secure, and seamless data flow between systems.
• Make informed operational decisions when needed to maintain service continuity.
• Lead and drive utilities and frameworks that automate and simplify existing functionality and environment checks/activities.
• Perform ongoing support activities, including monitoring, incident triage, root-cause analysis, and preventive improvements.
• Work flexible shifts within IST hours (no night shift). Provide rotational weekend/holiday support.

Technology greenlighting is a constant focus of the customer and hence technology upgrades & refinements are a common phenomenon.
