Job summary

Thewebvale is seeking a Web QA Engineer to design and execute test plans for web products, focusing on functional and visual flows. You will validate API endpoints and collaborate with engineers to verify fixes before releases.

You’ll work with Playwright and Cypress, write test scripts in JS or Python, document clear bug reports, and contribute to a remote-first team with a Bhopal studio for hybrid days, ongoing learning, and portfolio-worthy projects.

Qualifications

• Have 2–4 years of experience in web software quality assurance and testing.
• Demonstrate practical skill writing test scripts in JavaScript or Python.
• Show experience with end-to-end testing tools like Cypress or Playwright.
• Understand HTTP status codes, browser console logs, and REST API testing.
• Possess strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Communicate bug severity and release readiness clearly to the team.
