Job summary

BuildBros Innovations is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure the quality of our web and mobile SaaS products. You will create test plans, write test cases from user stories, execute tests across Chrome/Safari/mobile, document bugs with steps and screenshots, verify fixes with developers, and keep the test suite up to date.

Job description

Ensure the quality and reliability of our software products through systematic manual and automated testing across web and mobile platforms.

A Day in the Life

You pick up a feature from the QA board, read the acceptance criteria, write test cases, execute them across Chrome/Safari/mobile, log any bugs with screenshots and steps to reproduce, verify fixes from developers, and update the test suite.

What You'll Do

• Create comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases from user stories
• Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps and screenshots
• Verify bug fixes and perform thorough regression testing before releases
• Collaborate with developers on quality standards and definition of done
• Contribute to automated test scripts using Cypress or Playwright

What We're Looking For

• Basic understanding of software testing methodologies (STLC, test types, test levels)

Nice to Have

• Experience with Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright for automation
