eClerx seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager (Web Operations) to lead daily website operations across multiple CMSs, ensuring accurate content, governance, and high-quality deployments. You will oversee migration projects, guide frontend best practices, and manage a team of web producers and developers while partnering with analytics to optimize performance and UX.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in web operations, digital platforms, or web project management.
• Hands-on CMS experience with WordPress, AEM, or Contentful.

• Experience delivering complex web projects using Agile/Scrum.
• Strong knowledge of Core Web Vitals, page speed, and SEO basics.
• Led website migrations and digital transformation initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience with enterprise‑level CMS or DXPs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day website operations, publishing, updates, and QA across CMS platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering to plan, prioritize, and deliver features and enhancements.
• Guide frontend best practices and oversee QA, testing, and releases.
• Lead end‑to‑end migration projects, including redirects and content mapping.
• Manage a team of web producers, editors, and junior developers; drive performance reviews.
• Monitor site performance, UX, accessibility, and analytics; drive data‑driven optimizations.

Senior Project Manager (SPM) Web Operations Manager

Location: Mumbai | Pune | Chandigarh

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (master’s preferred)

Key Responsibilities

Web Publishing & Maintenance

• Oversee day-to-day website operations, including content publishing, updates, and quality assurance across CMS platforms such as WordPress, AEM, and Contentful.
• Establish and optimize content governance, workflows, and publishing standards.
• Ensure website content is accurate, compliant, SEO-friendly, and up-to-date.

Web Development Oversight

• Collaborate with engineering teams to plan, prioritize, and deliver new features and enhancements.
• Provide guidance on frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and best practices.
• Oversee QA, testing, and release management processes to ensure high-quality deployments.

Migration & Transformation Projects

• Lead end-to-end website migration initiatives (e.g., CMS upgrades, platform re-platforming).
• Manage content mapping, URL structuring, and implementation of 301 redirects.
• Ensure SEO preservation, performance continuity, and minimal business disruption during migrations.

Team Leadership & Resource Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of web producers, content editors, and/or junior developers.
• Drive resource planning, workload allocation, and performance management.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Performance Optimization & Analytics

• Monitor and analyze website performance metrics including traffic, engagement, and conversions.
• Identify opportunities to improve site speed, UX, and accessibility.
• Partner with analytics teams to implement data-driven optimization strategies.

Required Experience

• 7–10+ years of experience in web operations, digital platforms, or web project management.

Required Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, AEM, or Contentful.
• Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web architecture.
• Proven experience managing complex web projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of web performance metrics (Core Web Vitals, page load speed, SEO fundamentals).
• Demonstrated experience in leading website migrations and digital transformation initiatives.
