We are looking for a highly motivated Web Engineering Manager to lead and mentor a cross-functional team of engineers while remaining hands-on with architecture, delivery, and technical decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in modern web technologies, cloud platforms, engineering leadership, and Agile software delivery.

Role Overview

As a Web Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of Frontend, Backend, DevOps, and QA engineers while driving the successful delivery of scalable web applications and digital platforms. You will work closely with Product Managers, Architects, Engineering Leaders, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery, technical excellence, and continuous improvement across engineering processes.

This role requires a balance of technical leadership, people management, project execution, and hands-on problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Leadership

• Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of Frontend, Backend, DevOps, and QA engineers.
• Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, and career development discussions.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Provide technical guidance and support for complex engineering challenges.

Project & Delivery Management

• Manage team capacity, sprint planning, resource allocation, and project execution.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to define priorities and roadmap execution.
• Monitor project risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones.

Technical Oversight

• Participate in system architecture, design reviews, and technical decision-making.
• Guide the development of scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications.
• Review code quality, engineering standards, and best practices across teams.
• Drive adoption of modern software engineering methodologies and tools.

DevOps & Operational Excellence

• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, release management, and deployment processes.
• Support production monitoring, incident management, and root-cause analysis.
• Improve system reliability, performance, scalability, and observability.
• Promote engineering excellence through automation, testing, and process improvements.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering leadership.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and execution plans.
• Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience in web or full-stack application development.
• 4+ years of experience managing engineering teams in a leadership role.
• Proven experience working with globally distributed teams and stakeholders.
• Experience delivering large-scale web platforms and customer-facing applications.
• Strong experience with: Sitecore, .NET / ASP.NET Core, Node.js, React.js, REST APIs & Microservices, Azure Cloud Services
