Conroar is seeking a Website Developer with a strong focus on Technical SEO to manage and improve the company website. The role requires hands-on development with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and WordPress, plus a solid grasp of responsive design.

You will collaborate with marketing and SEO teams to implement SEO best practices, optimize Core Web Vitals, and ensure site performance without compromising functionality. A proactive, detail-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on website development experience.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with WordPress or similar CMS.
• Strong understanding of responsive, mobile-first development.
• Experience improving Core Web Vitals and site speed.
• Working knowledge of Technical SEO basics.
• Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
• Understanding of schema markup, redirects, canonicals, sitemaps and robots.txt.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot website and SEO-related technical issues.

Role Overview

Conroar is looking for a Website Developer with a strong understanding of Technical SEO to manage, maintain, and improve the company website.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance the website.
• Create and modify responsive web pages and landing pages.
• Manage website updates, integrations, forms, tracking scripts, and plugins.
• Troubleshoot website, layout, browser, and performance issues.
• Improve Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall website performance.
• Work closely with marketing and SEO teams on website requirements.
• Implement technical SEO recommendations, including:
• Crawlability and indexability
• XML sitemaps
• Robots.txt
• Canonical tags
• Redirects and 404 management
• Meta tags and heading structures
• Schema/structured data
• Internal linking
• URL structure
• Image optimization
• Identify and resolve issues reported through Google Search Console.
• Support SEO migrations, URL changes, redirects, and website restructuring when required.
• Ensure website changes do not negatively impact existing organic search performance.
• Maintain website security, backups, plugins/dependencies, and overall technical health.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on website development experience.

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of UI/UX and conversion-focused landing pages.
• Experience working on B2B or SaaS websites would be an advantage.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is primarily a hands-on website developer but understands SEO well enough to implement and troubleshoot technical SEO requirements independently.

This is not a pure SEO role. The candidate should be comfortable owning website development, maintenance, performance and technical SEO implementation.
