Job summary

The Waterproofing Manager role at The Investment Trust of India (ITI) involves planning, executing, and monitoring all waterproofing works for residential high-rise and precast projects in Mumbai area. You will ensure quality, safety, and timely completion while coordinating with Precast, Civil, QA/QC, MEP, Finishing, and Project teams.

You will review drawings and method statements, ensure correct material application (APP membrane, PU coating, crystalline waterproofing, etc.), and conduct

• Diploma or BE in Civil Engineering is required.
• 7+ years of waterproofing experience for residential high-rise and precast projects.
• Experience in planning, supervising, and coordinating waterproofing works.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute waterproofing works for residential high-rise buildings and precast structures.
• Supervise waterproofing activities for basements, terraces, toilets, balconies, podiums, water tanks, retaining walls, external walls, lift pits, and wet areas.
• Manage waterproofing works for precast joints, panel joints, joints (horizontal & vertical), precast balconies, precast bathrooms, facade joints, and grouting/sealing works.
• Review waterproofing drawings, precast shop drawings, specifications, and method statements before execution.
• Coordinate with Precast, Civil, QA/QC, MEP, Finishing, and Project teams to ensure proper sequencing of work.
• Ensure correct application of waterproofing materials (APP membrane, PU coating, cementitious coating, crystalline waterproofing, bituminous systems, injection grouting, sealants).
• Conduct quality inspections, ponding tests, joint testing, and leakage inspections before handover.
• Monitor contractor performance, labour productivity, and material consumption.
• Investigate seepage and leakage complaints and ensure timely rectification.
• Maintain daily progress reports, inspection records, and waterproofing documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, project specs, and SOPs.
