AbleCold Logistics, based in Pune District, India, is looking for a dynamic individual to manage daily operations of cold storage units. You will oversee performance and coordinate with clients, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your role will involve significant interactions with customers and internal teams.

About the job

• This role is customer-centric whereby you will take care of day-to-day interactions with customers and ensuring operations are running smoothly by co-ordinating with various functions within the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations, maintenance, and performance across six cold storage units.
• Plan and execute storage scheduling, capacity utilization, and client coordination to optimize efficiency.
• Oversee temperature, humidity, and equipment control systems to ensure consistent product quality.
• Coordinate with site in-charges regarding manpower allocation, operational activities, and technical troubleshooting.
• Ensure timely preparation and closure of MIS reports, along with effective client communication for all facilities.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure uninterrupted service and equipment functionality.
• Monitor inventory, enforce safety standards, and maintain statutory compliance at each unit.
• Prepare and submit daily performance and operational reports to management.
• Strong Excel skills and should be able to interpret data and analyze.
• Conduct periodic visits to each cold storage location to audit processes, verify maintenance standards, and drive continuous improvement.

• Willingness to roll your sleeves and hustle for ad-hoc problem solving whenever operational need arises.
• Previous start-up experience is preferable.
