Job summary

Brose Group in India, Maharashtra invites applications for a BE Mechanical professional to strengthen our supply chain and warehouse operations. You will manage the end-to-end material flow, using SAP to control receiving, storage and distribution while ensuring timely material availability for production.

We expect 5–6 years of relevant experience in warehouse management, SAP-based processes and IATF 16949 knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience in SAP-based warehouse and logistics processes.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and automotive supply chain.
• Ability to manage supplier coordination and inventory control.
• Strong communication and multitasking under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end supply chain from material planning to delivery.
• Develop and maintain SAP-based material receiving and warehouse processes.
• Ensure timely material availability for production (imports and locals).
• Coordinate with suppliers across the full purchase cycle.
• Identify cost-optimizing inventory actions.
• Control inventory to prevent excess or shortage.
• Support on-time inward, line feeding and dispatch to customers.
• Standardize and follow logistics planning processes.
• Ensure accurate post-shipment documentation for local and export orders.
• Maintain 5S in warehouse and ensure safety.
• Manage slow-moving and obsolete stock.
• Produce MIS reports via SAP transactions.

Your Tasks

• Supports the management of the whole supply chain from material (Raw Material) planning, preservation and storing through internal logistics, well-balanced stock control, and reliable physical flow management.
• Create and maintain an SAP based system to manage and execute material receiving & warehouse processes.
• Support the plant with accurate material planning in view of timely availability of material for production (Imports +Local) exactly as per the norms with control of Inventory.
• Supplier management – co - coordinate with material planner and suppliers all suppliers following the complete purchase cycle from material planning to final payment to the suppliers as per agreed payment terms.
• Keep close watch on the LO costs & define actions for the optimization / reduction by new ideas, concepts.
• Inventory control management – keep close monitoring of inventory in line with the demands to avoid excess stocks as well to avoid shortages resulting into premium freights.
• Support the complete supply chain contributing on time inward, line feeding & dispatch to customers with complete internal control & system adherence.
• Design, standardize and follow the logistics planning processes and releases to pertinent parties.
• Maintain timeliness & accuracy in documentation related to dispatched to customers – Local + exports with post shipment documentation.
• Maintain & upkeep 5s in warehouse with regular housekeeping taking safety measures in consideration.
• Slow moving stock and obsolete stock management.
• SAP transactions / reports to enable preparation of MIS data.

Your Profile

• BE Mechanical with 5-6 years of relevant experience.
• Warehouse management process (SAP).
• Knowledge of IATF 16949.
• Ability to perform under pressure.
• Strong communication skills & multitasking ability.
