Job summary

Brose Fahrzeugteile GmbH & Co. KG in Pune seeks a skilled software testing specialist to ensure high quality through automated and manual tests in the automotive domain. You will write test cases, execute tests, and coordinate deliverables with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, a 4-year technical degree, and hands-on work with Python, C, C++, and C#. Knowledge of Gtest/Vector Framework and Vector tools is essential, with opportunities for growth and development

Qualifications

• 4-year technical degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Computer Science
• 3–5 years work experience with automotive testing
• White box testing experience in automotive domain (3 years)
• Hands-on Python, C, C++, and C# programming
• Gtest/Vector Framework automation and GitHub usage
• Experience with Vector CANoe/CANalyser/CANape tools
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architect, Tessy, Winidea, Isystem/Seger Debuggers
• Ability to define verification and validation test plans
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• GASQ/ISTQB certification (advantage)

Responsibilities

• Ensure high software quality using adapted testing methods and strategies
• Write test descriptions and execute automated and manual test cases against requirements
• Coordinate testing activities and meet delivery dates for test results
• Define verification test plans from design specifications
• Define validation test plans from product specifications

Your Tasks

• To ensure a high level of software quality by using the adapted methods,processes and strategies for handling coordination of software testing,writing test description and executing automated / manual test cases referring to product/software requirements.

Your Profile

• Technical degree with a duration of upto 4 year,specializing in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/computer Science Engineering
• Work Experience 3-5 Years
• Specialized knowledge and skills required.
• Experience in White box testing- Unit Testing and Integration test in automotive domain minimum 3 years of experience.
• Development background preferred Very good handson knowledge in Python,C,C++,C# programming languages.
• Automation of test sequences using Gtest/Vector Framework
• Configuration management with GitHub.
• Experience with Enterprise Architect,Tessy,Winidea ,Isystem/Seger Debuggers.
• Definition of verification test plans based on design specifications.
• Definition of validation test plans based on product/system specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficient in public speaking.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and systems thinking.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrated cross cultural flexibility.
• Good Knowledge about Agile Methodologies.
• Good Knowledge of Vector tool (CANoe/CANalayser,CANape).
• Good Knowledge of VT systems,HIL.
• GASQ/ISTQB certified.
