Job summary

Jobitus is seeking a warehouse professional to manage daily warehouse operations in Kolkata. The role involves receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching materials while maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring proper storage and labeling.

The candidate will verify materials against orders and invoices, monitor stock levels, reconcile discrepancies, and coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams.

Qualifications

• Daily warehouse operations experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of stock management and inventory controls.
• Familiarity with purchase orders, invoices and delivery challans.
• Ability to organize and maintain proper storage and stock labels.
• Experience in monitoring stock levels and communicating with procurement.
• Experience with stock verification and discrepancy reconciliation.
• Ability to issue materials to production or other departments.
• Coordination with transporters, vendors, and internal teams.
• Knowledge of warehouse documentation such as GRN and challans.
• Experience applying FIFO/FEFO methods and ensuring cleanliness and safety.

• Follow FIFO/FEFO methods wherever applicable.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness, safety, and proper utilization of storage space.
