Job summary

DMart is seeking to optimize its Distribution Center operations in India. The role focuses on end-to-end DC management, ensuring accurate stock, timely deliveries to stores, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

The candidate will lead logistics, people management, and maintain documentation to ensure safety and efficiency within the SAP-enabled DC environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end DC operations from opening to closing.
• Oversee inbound/outbound operations including material handling, inventory control, cost, resources, space, and overall warehouse management.
• Ensure accurate stocking of inventory at prescribed locations.
• Ensure timely processing and delivery to stores to avoid stockouts.
• Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance in line with applicable guidelines.
• Manage logistics, people, team building, and employee engagement.
• Liaison with stakeholders including team members, store managers, area managers/cluster heads, suppliers, transporters, head office, regional office, and others.
• Maintain proper documentation and update records at the DC, ensuring safety of people, product, place, and asset.
• Manage DC operations in an SAP environment.
