Job summary

Power Bridge in Bengaluru is seeking a WAN Support Associate to monitor and support a global WAN, perform initial troubleshooting, log incidents, and coordinate with ISPs to ensure uninterrupted service.

You will participate in rotating shifts, maintain incident records, and escalate complex issues to senior engineers as needed. Engineering graduates with 1–3 years of experience and solid WAN concepts are preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate with 1–3 years of experience in network operations or support.
• Working knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, and basic WAN concepts.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting tools such as ping and traceroute.
• Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and ISP support teams.
• Willingness to work from Bangalore and participate in rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor WAN links, network devices, and alerts; identify connectivity issues.
• Perform initial troubleshooting of network outages, latency, packet loss, and routing or switching issues.
• Log, update, and track incidents through resolution, following defined SLAs and escalation procedures.
• Coordinate with ISPs for circuit troubleshooting, outage updates, and service restoration.
• Escalate unresolved or critical incidents to senior engineers with relevant logs and troubleshooting findings.
• Maintain incident records, operational documentation, and shift handover notes.
• Participate in rotational shifts for 24×7 global WAN support.
