Job summary

Karuna Electricals in Surat, Gujarat is seeking a production supervisor with 2-5 years' experience in manufacturing to oversee daily production, enforce safety, manage manpower, and coordinate with maintenance and shift Incharges.

Candidates with Diploma Engineering or relevant degrees in textile/polymer industries are preferred; strong data entry and MS Office skills are required; exposure to online portal and SOPs is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma Engineering in any discipline with 2-5 years experience in production supervision.
• B.Sc. / B.A. / B.Com. candidates with relevant manufacturing experience may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Abide by safe operating procedures within operating range by maintaining safety guidelines.
• Act as first responder to emergencies and Handling Manpower and ensure safe work practices.
• Conducting Safety Prayer with all available manpower.
• Take care of safe operations, PTW compliance and also Perform analysis of machine problems and troubleshooting.
• Monitor and control field equipment as per SOPs, SOCs, LLF checklists etc.
• Coordinate closely with shift Incharge, for Production planning.
• Production system entries in Log book & Online portal.
• Maintain shift logs for respective area /equipment and production details
• Checking previous shift production report very closely to find anomaly if any and rectify it.
• Report promptly any abnormal observations; report to Maintenance shift engineer / shift Incharge.
• Handover / takeover of equipment for maintenance jobs.

Education:

• Diploma Engineering in any discipline be preferred, with 2-5 year experience in production supervision.
• B.Sc. / B.A. / B.Com. candidates with relevant manufacturing experience may also be considered.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Candidates having experience in the Textile Industry, polymer industry, polyester industry, Continuous Process Manufacturing operations etc. can be preferred.
• Experience in manpower handling, safety compliance, and production troubleshooting .
