Job description

Role & responsibilities

• 10+ years of stress analysis experience in aircraft structures preferably in MRB domain
• Responsible for structural stress dispositioning non-conformances, developing repairs, and coordinating their implementation within the aircraft manufacturing environment.
• Resolve technical engineering fit, form or function issues on Aircraft components and for repairs required during manufacture of aircraft products.
• Expert in aircraft structures and classical analysis
• Good understanding and working experience in DFEM tools like Altair hyperworks
• Experience working in structural repair stress disposition for production issues
• Find Engineering solutions to any problem with the aircraft structure and/or systems that is reported and develop necessary documentation to overcome the problem quickly and efficiently.
• Create repair dispositions based on Engineering specifications, concepts and integrity of design on behalf of the Engineering department.
• Work closely with all specialists within engineering, such as Design, Materials Technology, Aerodynamics, Performance and others as required to address any problem reported as and when needed.
• Interpret stress reports and perform basic stress analysis for common manufacturing defects.
• Recommend permanent design changes for recurring non-conformances.
• Interpret Engineering drawings and specifications.
• Report writing, stress reports review and problem solving skills
• Project Coordination with team and customer, schedules, quality review
