Job summary

Uzaif in Bengaluru, India, seeks a Stress Engineer to specialize in airframe structural analysis for primary fuselage structures, focusing on static or fatigue and damage tolerance. You will assess fuselage sub-assemblies and apply topology/load regimes using industry tools.

The role requires 6–9 years in airframe analysis, proficiency with ISAMI, Hypermesh, Hyperview, MSC-Nastran/Patran and Excel VBA, and knowledge of composite and metallic materials. Immediate to 15 days joining.

Qualifications

• Experience: 6 - 9 years of professional experience in airframe structural analysis.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ISAMI, Hypermesh, Hyperview, MSC-Nastran/Patran, and Excel VBA.
• Domain Knowledge: Expertise in both composite and metallic materials.
• Tools: Strong command of Airbus in-house tools for load extraction.
• Certification: Experience with A350XWB airframe certification is considered a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress assessments on fuselage sub-assemblies including stiffened panels, frames, and junctions.
• Conduct DMU cleaning and apply 0D, 1D, 2D & 3D topology and load applications.
• Ensure consistency in results through proper mesh quality control and refinement.
• Perform GFEM updates and FEM validations.
• Extract loads using Airbus in-house tools and interpret results through hand calculations.
• Perform fatigue life calculations using rainflow/miner rules and crack growth analysis.

About the Role
