Job summary

Infosys in Hubli, Karnataka, India, is seeking a skilled structural analysis engineer to perform static and fatigue analysis on aircraft components. The role involves extraction of loads, generating finite element models, and sizing parts to meet safety standards.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with static and fatigue/damage tolerance analysis, certification reports, and experience coordinating with design and stress teams to ensure compliance with certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in Static, Fatigue & Damage Tolerance analysis of Aircraft structural components.
• Experience with plant engineering concessions for Aircraft structural components.
• Proficiency in stress analysis, aircraft loads and aircraft structures; awareness of certification requirements and experience with static & fatigue stress certification reports.
• Ability to coordinate with design and stress teams; strong knowledge of structural design principles and aircraft loads.

Responsibilities

• Extract material data, geometry details and fastener specs from drawings and generate detailed finite element models.
• Perform static stress analysis of primary and secondary Aircraft structural components and size parts for static, fatigue & DT requirements.
• Prepare stress certification reports and provide mitigation techniques for low margins of safety.

Role & responsibilities

• Extraction of material data, geometry details and fastener specifications from part and assembly drawings.
• Extraction of loads, stresses from GFEM.
• Generate detailed finite element models
• Static stress analysis of primary and secondary Aircraft structural components
• Sizing of primary and secondary structural parts for static, fatigue & DT requirements
• Mitigation techniques for low margins of safety
• Preparation of stress certification reports

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidate should have good working experience on Static, Fatigue & Damage tolerance analysis of Aircraft structural components.
• Should have good working experience on plant engineering concessions of Aircraft structural (Primary and Secondary) components.
• Profound knowledge on Stress analysis, aircraft loads and aircraft structures are expected. Should be aware of certification requirements and should have experience with static & fatigue stress certification reports.
• Candidate should be able to co-ordinate with design and stress teams. Sound knowledge of structural design principles, aircraft loads and aircraft structures are expected
• Must have experience in static analysis & sizing of Aircraft structural components for metallic and composites
• Must have experience in the preparation of stress certification reports
• Working experience in concessions
• Must have experience in the preparation of stress reports.
• Having experience in Fatigue & damage tolerance analysis is an added advantage
