Job summary

Impelsys in Bengaluru, India is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer with 6-9 years of experience to join our fast-growing team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices to deliver robust RESTful APIs.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, review code, and ensure high quality, secure performance, and timely delivery. Immediate joiners preferred; notice periods considered.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of backend Java experience.
• Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience with REST APIs, Microservices, and SQL databases.
• Knowledge of Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Java (8/11/17), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Microservices, and SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle).
• Knowledge of Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
