Job summary

Max is seeking a Senior Software Developer – Java Backend to join our Bangalore-based team. The candidate will bring 7–9 years of hands-on Java experience to design, build, and optimize scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.

You will work with Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud-enabled architectures, ensuring code quality, performance, and reliability while mentoring juniors and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Excellent hands-on experience in Core Java.
• Strong coding and problem-solving skills with hands-on coding mandatory.
• Strong understanding of Core Java, Java 8+, OOPs, Collections, Multithreading & Concurrency.
• Experience with Spring/Spring Boot and REST APIs / Microservices.
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Experience with Git and CI/CD practices; exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, cloud and messaging systems is a plus.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Senior Software Developer – Java Backend with 7–9 years of hands‑on software development experience.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java backend development, problem-solving, API development, scalable application design, and writing high-quality production‑ready code.

Strong hands‑on coding experience is mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities
