Job summary

Vistra is hiring a Senior Associate Management Accounts in Mumbai. You will deliver core accounting processes, manage GL/sub-ledger, A/R/A/P, and assist with financial statements and client reporting. The role requires 3-6 years of core accounting experience and strong communication skills.

Hybrid work arrangement in Vistra GSC with insurance benefits and career growth opportunities. IFRS knowledge is a plus and the candidate should be self-driven and able to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of core accounting experience mandatory.
• IFRS knowledge would be an added advantage.
• KPO/BPO background preferred.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with client focus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multiple finance and accounting processes end-to-end.
• Manage payments, disbursements, GL and sub-ledger accounting.
• Oversee A/R and A/P management and annual financial statements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual client reporting and trackers.
• Support statutory accounting, audit and MIS issue logs.
• Escalate issues promptly to the leader or senior.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Associate Management Accounts. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, this full-time and permanent position is based in Mumbai, India and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Management Accounts and its growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for delivery of multiple finance and accounting processes. Processes may include, but not limited to
• Payments and Disbursements o General ledger and sub-ledger accounting
• -A/R and A/P management o Annual Financial Statement
• - Monthly , Quarterly ,Annual accounting and clients reporting o Support for statutory accounting and audit
• - Support in preparation of trackers, issue logs and MIS
• -Timely escalation of issues to leader / Senior
• -Adhere to delivery service request with 100% of client SLA as agreed upon.

Key requirements:

• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Strong Communication, Good Presentation skills & Customer Focus.
• Ability to understand and interpret legal/regulatory concepts
• Self-driven and highly motivated individual, able to work independently
• Solution oriented with strong analytical skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Candidates with KPO/BPO background would be preferred
• 3-6 Years of experience in core accounting experience is mandatory.
• Knowledge of IFRS would be added advantage.
