Job summary

OCS Group in Bengaluru is seeking a project engineer to plan, execute, and monitor complex projects from initiation to completion.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors, prepare schedules, manage resources, and track progress while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

This role requires hands-on site inspection, timely reporting to management, and support for cost estimation and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor project activities to ensure timely completion within budget.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare project schedules, resource plans, and work breakdown structures.
• Track project progress and provide regular status updates to management.
• Review engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Manage procurement activities and coordinate material deliveries.
• Conduct site inspections and supervise installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support during project execution.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, change requests, and lessons learned records.
• Support cost estimation, budgeting, and project cost control activities.
