Safe-Tronics Automation Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Senior Project Engineer responsible for the engineering, execution, and delivery of projects in Mumbai, India. You will manage site activities like installations, commissioning, and maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction and technical quality throughout the project lifecycle.

This role involves collaborating with various teams, supervising site technicians, and maintaining project documentation to ensure timely delivery and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Execute project activities at site, including installation, commissioning, and testing.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager, Supply Chain, Solution Architect, and field teams.
• Plan and organize manpower, tools, and materials for projects.
• Review project documentation including Functional Design Specifications.
• Supervise technicians or subcontractors for site execution.
• Conduct daily progress reporting and elevate critical issues.
• Obtain permit to work and confirm availability of work fronts.
• Carry out loop checks and verify equipment readiness.
• Perform system testing and complete Site Acceptance Testing.
• Prepare and submit Final Service Reports with client acknowledgment.
• Liaise with clients for documentation and approvals.
• Log and respond to warranty and post-warranty service calls.
• Coordinate with Project Manager for spare part recommendations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues at site.
• Participate in client design review and kick-off meetings.
• Conduct pre-engineering site surveys and initiate logistics.
• Maintain organized project documentation.

The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for the engineering, execution, and delivery of assigned projects, including site activities such as surveys, installation, commissioning, and maintenance. The role ensures technical quality, documentation compliance, and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute project activities at site, including installation, commissioning, and testing.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager, Supply Chain, Solution Architect, and field teams to ensure on-time project delivery.
• Plan and organize manpower, tools, and materials for execution of assigned projects.
• Review project documentation including Functional Design Specifications, IO allocation, loop drawings, cabinet layouts, and wiring schedules.
• Supervise technicians or subcontractors for site execution and commissioning.
• Conduct daily progress reporting and elevate critical issues when necessary.
• Obtain permit to work and confirm availability of work fronts for site teams.
• Carry out loop checks and verify equipment readiness for power-up.
• Perform system testing, commissioning, and complete Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
• Prepare and submit Final Service Reports (FSR) with client acknowledgment.
• Liaise with clients for documentation and approvals.
• Log and respond to warranty and post-warranty service calls, including site visits if required.
• Coordinate with Project Manager for spare part recommendations or warranty replacements.
• Troubleshoot technical issues at site and provide resolution.
• Participate in client design review, kickoff, and status meetings; ensure documentation approvals are obtained as per project milestones.
• Conduct pre-engineering site surveys and initiate procurement and logistics as per project schedule.
• Maintain organized project documentation and ensure proper filing and traceability.
