Job summary

Tecnimont is seeking a Plumbing Modeler to join its Buildings Engineering / BIM team in a design office setting. You will develop 3D BIM models for plumbing systems using Revit MEP, prepare shop drawings, and coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical disciplines to meet project standards.

The role requires 3–8 years of Plumbing BIM experience, a Diploma or Bachelor in Engineering, and strong accuracy in modeling, clash detection and quantity take-offs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience in Plumbing BIM Modeling.
• Experience in Building Projects, Commercial Buildings, Residential Towers, Hospitals, Airports, or Industrial Facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D BIM models for plumbing systems using Revit MEP.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings, layouts, sections, and schedules.
• Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines.

Job Summary

The Plumbing Modeler is responsible for developing and maintaining 3D BIM models for plumbing systems using Revit and other BIM tools. The role involves preparing detailed construction drawings, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with project standards, codes, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, layouts, sections, and schedules.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.


• Knowledge of AutoCAD.


• Familiarity with Navisworks, BIM 360 / ACC.


• Understanding of plumbing design standards and codes.


• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.


• Good coordination and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of experience in Plumbing BIM Modeling.


• Experience in Building Projects, Commercial Buildings, Residential Towers, Hospitals, Airports, or Industrial Facilities preferred.

Preferred Experience

• MEP coordination.

• Quantity take-off and BOQ preparation.


• International project experience is an added advantage.
