Job summary

Techture is seeking a Mechanical BIM Engineer to deliver high-quality BIM models and construction documentation for international projects. You will follow BIM standards, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with client requirements.

The role emphasizes developing Revit MEP and Fabrication models, performing clash detection, and maintaining ASHRAE/SMACNA/IPC/NFPA standards in collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 2–5 years of BIM modelling experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP, Autodesk Revit Fabrication, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and ACC/BIM 360.
• Experience on US, UK, or Middle East projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop Mechanical & Plumbing BIM models independently per project standards.
• Develop and maintain Revit MEP and Revit Fabrication models with fabrication databases.
• Prepare mechanical & plumbing shop drawings, construction documentation, and quantity take-offs.
• Coordinate fabrication spools and spool drawings for fabrication-ready deliverables.
• Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues using Navisworks and Revizto.
• Review models for QA/QC and compliance with project standards.
• Ensure models meet ASHRAE, SMACNA, IPC, UPC, NFPA and client requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and implement client comments.
• Maintain project documentation and ACC/BIM 360 workflows.

Job description

Deliver high-quality BIM models and construction documentation for international projects while following BIM standards and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Mechanical & Plumbing BIM models independently in accordance with project BIM standards and client requirements.
• Develop and maintain Revit MEP and Revit Fabrication models while utilizing fabrication databases as per company and project standards.
• Prepare Mechanical & Plumbing shop drawings, construction documentation, and quantity take-offs.
• Prepare and coordinate fabrication spools and spool drawings for fabrication-ready deliverables.
• Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues using Navisworks and Revizto.
• Review models for QA/QC and compliance with project standards before submission.
• Review models for constructability and compliance with ASHRAE, SMACNA, IPC, UPC, NFPA, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and implement client comments.
• Maintain project documentation and ACC/BIM 360 workflows.

What We\'re Looking For

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of BIM Modelling experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP, Autodesk Revit Fabrication, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and ACC/BIM 360.
• Good understanding of BEP, LOD, QA/QC, CDE workflows, and construction documentation.
• Experience working on US, UK, or Middle East projects is preferred.

Technical Expertise

• HVAC, Mechanical Piping, Domestic Water, Drainage, Fire Fighting, Plant Rooms.
• Pipe Supports, Sleeves, Builder\'s Work, Spooling, Underground Utilities.
• Working knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, IPC, UPC, NFPA and related international standards.
