Job summary

Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital in India is seeking qualified ophthalmic technicians to perform comprehensive eye examinations, including refractive power checks with auto refractometer and IOP measurements using a tonometer. You will also take patient history and conduct subjective refraction and retinoscopy to aid diagnosis and treatment planning.

The role involves color vision testing, evaluating extraocular movements and pupil reactions, fitting contact lenses, and supporting cataract and glaucoma

Responsibilities

• Checking of refractive power by Auto Refractometer.
• Checking the intraocular pressure by Tonometer.
• Taking Patient History.
• Checking Subjective Refraction and Retinoscopy.
• Checking color blindness.
• Checking EOM (Extra Ocular Movements and Pupil Reaction).
• Contact Lens fitting and dispensing.
• Cataract Investigation: A - Scan, B - Scan, IOL Master, Keratometry, Syringing and Specular Microscopy.
• Glaucoma Investigation: Autoperimetry, OCT.
• Handing over the case sheets to next department.
