Job summary

Federal Soft Systems Inc., Hyderabad, seeks a seasoned Engineering & Maintenance leader to head the department and ensure smooth operation of production and utility equipment.

You will plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance, monitor electrical systems, and drive energy conservation and TPM initiatives while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance in manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFD and process control systems.
• In-depth understanding of GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000 and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Engineering & Maintenance department.
• Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of production and utility equipment.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
• Monitor electrical systems, substations, DG sets, compressors, chillers, boilers, HVAC, WTP, ETP, and STP.
• Ensure uninterrupted power, water, and utility supply to the plant.
• Manage spare parts inventory and engineering stores.
• Lead energy conservation and cost reduction initiatives.
• Prepare and monitor engineering budgets, CAPEX, and maintenance expenses.
• Execute plant expansion, automation, and improvement projects.
• Troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFD, and process control systems.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and 5S implementation.
• Manage contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Prepare engineering MIS reports, utility consumption reports, and KPI reports.
• Support production teams in achieving operational targets.
• Develop and train engineering team members.
• Drive TPM, OEE improvement, and reliability initiatives.
