Job summary

RGBSI in India is seeking a skilled Machine Operator / Maintenance professional for Vallam/Oragadam to operate and monitor production machinery and perform preventive and breakdown maintenance. The role requires ITI or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics with strong troubleshooting skills.

Applicants will also ensure adherence to 5S and EHS standards, coordinate with production and maintenance teams, and maintain records of operations and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• ITI or diploma in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics.
• Capable of operating and maintaining production machinery.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
• Knowledge of 5S, EHS and safe maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machines as per SOPs.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/hydraulic issues.
• Attend machine breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Inspect machines and identify performance abnormalities.
• Set machines, adjust parameters, and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain daily operation and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for smooth operation.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, quality, and maintenance standards.
• Follow 5S and plant maintenance practices.
• Support continuous improvement to improve reliability and productivity.
