Job summary

Teleflo Instruments & Controls in Chennai is seeking enthusiastic Junior Production Engineers to join the manufacturing team. You will work under experienced Production Engineers to gain hands-on exposure to safety valves, pressure relief valves, vacuum breaker valves, air release valves and related products.

Responsibilities include assisting in daily production planning, monitoring machining and assembly, interpreting drawings, maintaining production records and coordinating with Design, QC,

Qualifications

• Fresh BE or Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
• Internship or practical experience in machining and manufacturing preferred.
• Willingness to learn and build a long-term career in valve production.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily production planning and shop-floor activities.
• Monitor machining, assembly and manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate CNC, VMC, lathe, drilling and other machining activities.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
• Prepare and maintain daily production reports, job cards and manufacturing records.
• Monitor work progress and coordinate with machinists and assembly technicians.
• Assist the Production Manager in achieving production targets and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with Design, QC, Purchase and Stores departments.
• Ensure availability of materials, tools and components for production.
• Follow approved manufacturing procedures and quality requirements.
• Support implementation of ASME UV manufacturing documentation and traceability requirements.
• Assist in identifying production delays, rework and process improvements.

Teleflo Instruments & Controls is looking for enthusiastic and technically motivated Junior Production Engineers to join our manufacturing team.

The selected candidates will work under experienced Production Engineers and Managers and gain practical exposure to the manufacturing of Safety Valves, Pressure Relief Valves, Vacuum Breaker Valves, Air Release Valves and other industrial valve products.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and dimensional tolerances.
• Basic knowledge of CNC, VMC, lathe and conventional machining.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Excel is an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work on the shop floor and learn industrial valve manufacturing.

• Fresh BE / Diploma graduates in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
• Candidates with internship or practical experience in machining and manufacturing.
