Job summary

Exocast Metal Solutions is seeking a skilled Hydraulic Fitter to join the Operations, Maintenance & Support team. You will install, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

You will work under the Maintenance Engineer role, performing preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs while documenting service activities and complying with safety standards. This full-time position offers permanent employment in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proven experience as hydraulic fitter or in hydraulic systems maintenance.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic principles, systems, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Installation & assembly of hydraulic systems and components as per drawings.
• Maintenance of hydraulic systems, pumps, cylinders and related equipment.
• Troubleshooting hydraulic system failures and malfunctions.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hydraulic Fitter to join our Operations, Maintenance & Support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing hydraulic systems and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Assembly: Install and assemble hydraulic systems, components, and equipment as per technical specifications and drawings
• Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance on hydraulic systems, pumps, cylinders, and related equipment
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic system failures and malfunctions
• Repairs: Repair and replace damaged or worn hydraulic components with precision
• Testing & Inspection: Conduct pressure testing, leak testing, and inspection of hydraulic systems before deployment
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and service schedules
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure work area safety standards
• Collaboration: Work with engineers and technicians to ensure timely resolution of technical issues

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience as a Hydraulic Fitter or in hydraulic systems maintenance
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of hydraulic principles, systems, and equipment

Certifications: Trade certification or diploma in hydraulics/mechanical engineering (preferred)
