Job summary

Metalman Auto is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing activities at our Dharuhera plant. You will monitor production targets, supervise sheet metal fabrication, welding, cutting, bending and assembly on the shop floor, ensuring adherence to drawings, SOPs and quality standards.

You will coordinate with Production Engineer, Quality, Maintenance, PPC, and Stores to maintain workflow, track downtime, and implement 5S, Kaizen and TPM for continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production activities as per production targets and schedules.
• Supervise sheet metal fabrication, welding, cutting, bending, and assembly processes.
• Ensure proper manpower deployment and smooth workflow on the shop floor.
• Monitor welding machines, fixtures, presses, and fabrication equipment.
• Ensure production as per drawings, SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimize rejection, rework, and downtime.
• Coordinate with Production Engineer, Quality, Maintenance, PPC, and Stores
• Maintain daily production reports, downtime records, and process documentation.
• Ensure proper material handling and availability of components for production.
• Implement 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and shop-floor work instructions.
