Ideal candidates have 3–10 years of automotive trims/BIW design experience and strong CATIA V5/V6 skills, with preference for those having OEM or Tier-1 supplier exposure.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, or Production Engineering.
• 3–10 years of experience in automotive trims and/or BIW design.
• Experience with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive trim components (e.g., doors, pillars, instrument panels, consoles, interior/exterior plastic parts).
• Create and modify 3D CATIA models and 2D drawings.
• Design BIW components and assemblies (underbody, closures, roof, side structures).

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Design Engineers with expertise in Trims and Body-in-White (BIW) design using CATIA V5/V6. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing automotive interior/exterior trim components and BIW parts, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, manufacturing feasibility, quality standards, and vehicle packaging constraints.

Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, or Production Engineering.
• 3-10 years of experience in Automotive Trims and/or BIW Design.
• Experience working with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers is preferred.

Trims Design

• Design and develop automotive trim components such as:
  • Door Trims
  • Pillar Trims
  • Instrument Panel Components
  • Console Parts
  • Interior/Exterior Plastic Components
• Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA.

BIW Design

• Design and develop BIW components and assemblies including:
  • Underbody
  • Closures
  • Roof Systems
  • Side Structures
  • Body Structures

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in CATIA V5/V6.
• Good knowledge of:
