Job summary

Credosit in Bangalore is seeking an experienced Automotive Interior Trim Design Engineer to lead CATIA V5-driven design of instrument panels, door trims, consoles, and interior plastic parts. You will perform 3D modelling, surface design, assembly design, and drafting to meet tooling feasibility and manufacturing requirements.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Interior Trim Design Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in CATIA V5 and automotive plastic component design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automotive interior trim components such as instrument panels, door trims, pillar trims, consoles, and interior plastic parts.
• Perform 3D modelling, surface design, assembly design, and 2D drafting using CATIA V5.
• Develop plastic components considering tooling feasibility, draft angles, wall thickness, ribs, bosses, and mounting features.
• Apply GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and DFMEA principles.
• Ensure designs meet automotive OEM standards, quality requirements, and manufacturing feasibility.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for design reviews and issue resolution.
