Job summary

PREFire Contracting Engineers is seeking a Fire & Safety Design Engineer to design and document fire protection and fire alarm systems for diverse projects. You will prepare AutoCAD layouts, develop protection drawings, and coordinate with clients and site teams to ensure compliance with codes.

Ideal candidates have a Fire & Safety or Mechanical background, strong AutoCAD skills, and knowledge of sprinkler, hydrant, and fire pump systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Fire & Safety Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and fire protection systems.
• Familiarity with sprinkler, hydrant, fire alarm and fire pump systems.
• Understanding of IS/NFPA fire safety standards.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Experience in fire protection design is an advantage.
