Job summary

Kanha Fire Safety Services is seeking an AutoCAD Drafter to prepare accurate drawings for fire protection and fire detection systems according to project specifications. You will interpret MEP and architectural drawings to integrate fire safety designs and update drawings from engineers or site teams.

The candidate should hold a Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have extensive AutoCAD drafting experience in fire safety or related fields, with strong drawing

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 23 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting, preferably in fire safety/MEP or piping design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and clear AutoCAD drawings for fire protection and fire detection systems based on project specifications.
• Interpret MEP, architectural, and structural drawings to integrate fire safety designs.
• Modify and update drawings based on feedback from engineers or site teams.
• Maintain drawing logs, revisions, and drawing registers.
• Ensure designs comply with local fire codes, NFPA standards, and other applicable regulations.
