Job summary

Fireplans Design & Drafting Solutions in India is seeking a Fire Protection Draftsman with 1-5 years of experience to draft fire protection drawings using AutoCAD and to understand complex systems. You will handle hydrant, sprinkler, alarm, passive protection, pumping, gas suppression, FM200 and suppression drawings.

Additionally, you will prepare fire-fighting isometrics, hydraulic calculations, BOQ and quantity take-offs, piping layouts and equipment details, coordinating with architectural,

Qualifications

• Drafting fire protection systems and understanding drawings.
• Knowledge of fire protection concepts and system components.
• Ability to interpret and draft from architectural/MEP drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and draft fire protection system drawings using AutoCAD.
• Work on hydrant, sprinkler, alarm, passive protection, pumping, gas suppression, FM200 and suppression system drawings.

Desired profile of the candidate

• Skilled Fire Protection Design Draftsman with 1-5 years of experience.
• Should be able to understand drawings and fire protection systems and draft them correctly.
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD, layers, blocks, LISP, dimensioning, XREF, PDF underlay, hatching, plotting, model/paper space, drawing coordination, piping layouts, isometrics, BOQ and quantity take-off.
