Job summary

Tata Technologies in Pune seeks engineers to join the BIW Robot simulation team. You will build simulation cells, assess reachability and feasibility, validate BIW tools, analyze weld distribution, and prepare cycle time charts.

Experience with MBRDI and other global OEMs is a plus; knowledge of Robcad, Delmia V5, and Process Simulate is preferred. Strong documentation and customer-facing review skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Robot simulation expertise required.
• Pre-engineering background preferred.
• Layout and cycle time optimization experience is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Build simulation cells for BIW processes.
• Conduct reachability and feasibility studies.
• Validate BIW tools and welding distributions.
• Prepare cycle time charts and lay out layouts from simulations.
• Configure RCS with simulation (Fanuc, Kuka, ABB).
• Create and share customer documentation and knowledge sharing.

• Simulation cell building
• Reachability & feasibility study
• BIW tool validation

• Create layout from simulation cell
• Offline programming
• Configure RCS with Simulation (RRS)
• Generate downloads
• Validation of processes in workcells / stations
