Job summary
Tata Technologies in Chennai is seeking a BIW Robot Simulation engineer to build and optimize simulation cells, perform reachability studies, and validate welding tools and processes. The role involves creating cycle time charts, offline programming, and documenting workflows for customer reviews.
You will configure RCS with various robots (Fanuc, Kuka, ABB), generate downloads, and ensure quality checks align with standards while collaborating with customers and teams to share knowledge.
Qualifications
- Experience with robot simulation in BIW processes.
- Familiarity with MBRDI or global OEMs is a plus.
- Knowledge of cycle time optimization and layout design.
- Experience with RCS configuration for multiple vendors.
