Job summary

Mahindra Aerostructures is seeking entry-level mechanical engineers/fresher apprentices in India to join the design team. The role involves creating 2D drawings and 3D models using CATIA V5, AutoCAD and SolidWorks, interpreting drawings, and supporting sheet metal design and BOM management.

The ideal candidate will have fresh BE/B.Tech (Mechanical) or Diploma with relevant CAD skills, strong analytical abilities, and good communication to collaborate with design, production and quality teams.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) Freshers or Apprentices.
• Diploma candidates with relevant skills can also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using CATIA V5, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
• Interpret engineering drawings and support design-related activities.
• Assist in sheet metal part design and development.
• Prepare and maintain BOMs and design documentation.
• Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams for project execution.
• Support product development, drawing updates, and engineering change activities.

Job description

Key Skills Required:

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, CATIA V5, and SolidWorks
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Familiarity with GD&T concepts and basic mechanical design principles
