Qualifications

Experience in mechanical design, sheet metal design, welding structures, and manufacturing engineering.
Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, CATIA V5, and SolidWorks for 3D modelling and manufacturing drawings.
Ability to develop accurate 3D models, drawings and engineering documentation while meeting industry standards.

Responsibilities

Develop and modify 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings using Inventor, CATIA V5, and SolidWorks.
Design sheet metal components, welded structures, and mechanical assemblies per project requirements.
Prepare detailed engineering drawings with GD&T, tolerances, dimensions and manufacturing specs.
Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and engineering documentation.
Ensure dimensional accuracy and adherence to engineering standards across the design lifecycle.
Collaborate with production and manufacturing teams to resolve design and fabrication issues.
Conduct design reviews and support prototype development, testing, and validation.
Coordinate with quality teams to ensure product compliance and manufacturability.
Support design change management and design improvements.
Optimize designs for cost, quality, manufacturability and performance.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer with extensive experience in mechanical design, sheet metal design, welding structures, and manufacturing engineering. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Autodesk Inventor, CATIA V5, and SolidWorks, with the ability to develop accurate 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and engineering documentation while ensuring compliance with industry standards and manufacturing requirements.

The candidate will work closely with cross‑functional teams including Manufacturing, Production, Quality, and Project Engineering to deliver robust and cost‑effective design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and modify 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor, CATIA V5, and SolidWorks.
Design sheet metal components, welded structures, and mechanical assemblies based on project requirements.
Prepare detailed engineering drawings with appropriate GD&T, tolerances, dimensions, and manufacturing specifications.
