Job summary

Fact Personnel is assisting a reputed Chemical Manufacturing organization headquartered in Gujarat to hire an experienced Project Head. The role requires BE Mechanical, 25+ years’ experience, and proven leadership to own large greenfield projects end-to-end—from concept through commissioning and start-up.

The incumbent should have extensive EPC management exposure, high CAPEX handling, and a track record in complex manufacturing environments in Dahej/Gujarat or similar clusters.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical is compulsory.
• 25+ years of overall experience.
• Strong experience in Chemical / Specialty Chemical manufacturing / fertilizer.
• Experience in large-scale greenfield projects with end-to-end project ownership.
• Strong exposure to Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning & Start-up.
• Experience handling large CAPEX projects in the range of INR 1,5002,000 Cr.
• Good understanding of complex manufacturing environments, including continuous and batch processes.
• Experience managing EPC partners, contractors, consultants, technology partners and large project teams.
• Strong experience in project planning, cost, timelines, quality, risk management and execution.
• Proven experience in plant commissioning, start-up and operational readiness.
• Exposure to fertilizer / specialty chemical projects will be an added advantage.
• Prior experience in Dahej / Gujarat or other large integrated chemical manufacturing clusters will be preferred.

• The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills and the ability to take complete ownership of a large and complex greenfield project from concept, engineering and procurement through construction, commissioning and successful start-up.
